Stephen Patton, M.A., J.D., left his law practice in 1994 to get a Masters in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He serves as the Director of Family Life and Respect Life ministries for the Diocese of St. Augustine. He and his wife, Bridget, live in Jacksonville with their two daughters and are licensed foster parents for the State of Florida.
Diocesan Center for Family Life The Diocese of Saint Augustine through its Family Life Office recognizes that the family is the essential social unit. Our mission is to provide quality life enrichment programs to nurture members of all ages and in all states of Family Life. The Family Life Office is responsible for the development and coordination of programs for marriage preparation and enrichment, Natural Family Planning and the annual Anniversary Celebration. Licensed professionals provide marital and family counseling. The office also coordinates support groups for separated, divorced, widowed and is the liaison for regional support groups.
